Ultherapy Skin Tightening Treatment

What is Ultherapy?

Not an injection… not a laser… the Ulthera System utilizes ultrasound technology to treat the skin’s deep support structures, gradually strengthening the skin from deep within to create a natural lift and tone.

How does Ultherapy Work?

Ultherapy emits direct sound waves deep under the skin, gently heating the tissue to lift and tighten loose skin without disrupting the skin’s surface. Ultherapy stimulates the creation of new collagen, which helps the skin maintain its youthfulness.

Ultherapy lifts, tightens, and tones loose skin to counteract the effects of time and gravity. Ultherapy will lift the brow, which in turn reduces the excess skin on the lids, opens up the eyes and gives a more refreshed appearance.

How long does Ultherapy Take?

The procedure can be done in 30 to 60 minutes and uses the body’s own subtle healing response to restore memory to the skin and its underlying tissue. Offered in Livonia, Clarkston, Southgate and Shelby Township, Ultherapy typically only takes one treatment to see results.* Although you will see some initial effect immediately following the procedure, the ultimate lifting will take 2 – 3 months, as collagen is rejuvenated with new, stronger collagen.

Does Ultherapy Hurt?

There can be some discomfort while the energy is being delivered, but it is temporary and a signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated. Comfort thresholds vary from patient to patient.

Is there a long down time for Ultherapy?

Ultherapy offers a natural, ‘no downtime’ approach to noticeably improving sagging skin.

You are able to return to your normal activities right away. Your skin may appear a bit flushed immediately after the treatment, but any redness should disappear within a few hours. It is not uncommon to experience slight swelling for a few days following the procedure or tingling/tenderness to the touch for a few days to weeks following the procedure, but these are mild and temporary in nature.

How much does Ultherapy cost?

Ulthera treatments cost $2,800, but are available as low as $2,000 when purchased as an add-on to an Allure Medical Magic Lift package.
