This Hormone Fights Breast Cancer

Conquer Menopause DiscussionJoin Dr. Charles Mok on February 4th for a discussion on how to feel “normal” again AND reduce your changes of breast cancer.

For the past decade or so, women facing menopause have been concerned about using Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to combat uncomfortable side effects. Why? A study tracking the use of hormone substitutions Premarin and Provera showed an increased risk in breast cancer in women taking Provera — among other health risks.

More recently, several medical studies have indicated that using Natural Hormone Replacement during menopause not only helps relieve the uncomfortable symptoms, but offers numerous other health benefits as well as protection against breast cancer!

This is good news for women facing menopause – which can bring with it symptoms such as weight gain (particularly belly fat), hot flashes, increased anxiety or irritability, vaginal dryness and wrinkles.

Natural hormones are beneficial to the heart, brain, circulatory system and skin. Rather than using synthetic hormones, Natural Hormone Replacement uses the actual hormones found in a healthy young woman’s body.

The biggest news is the discovery of an often neglected or forgotten hormone that fights symptoms of menopause (weight gain, night sweats, hot flashes, loss of energy, dry skin, hair loss, sexual desire and mood problems) and also appears to cut breast cancer risk in women by over 50%!

This forgotten hormone is found in young, healthy women at 20 times the levels of Estrogen. Yet for the last few decades, doctors were prescribing the weaker estrogen for menopause, or in many cases, drugs that are not really human hormones at all.

This forgotten hormone is delivered as a tiny pellet (about the size of a grain of rice) into your skin. The pellet delivers the hormone at a steady rate for months and then is replaced. It breaks down completely and never needs to be removed.

Most women will feel the benefits of this dominant, but forgotten, hormone within 2 weeks.

This includes better sleep, less hot flashes, less belly fat, more energy, better mood, better sex, better hair and better skin.

And this tiny hormone pellet is not only safe and highly effective for treating all symptoms of menopause; it is actually less expensive than the many drugs that have been associated with health risks such as breast cancer, heart disease and blood clots.
