As partners in the community in which we live and work, I invite you to make an IMPACT.
Each year, dynamic, passionate individuals engage in a spirited competition to earn The Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s “Man and Woman of the Year” titles by raising funds for blood cancer research.
Candidates compete in honor of children who are local blood cancer survivors. Every dollar raised counts as one vote, and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of 10 weeks. Top local fundraisers across the country win the national titles.
This highly visible campaign has the potential to raise over $14.6 million for research and patient services. Currently, $5.6 million in grants are being funded to researchers right here in Michigan.
I was honored to be asked to run as a candidate for Man of the Year. My plan is to align myself and my network with those like-minded individuals and companies who know how to identify a worthy goal – and to achieve it.
Why did I join this fight? I want to impact healthcare and the community. I know there are TOO many people, right now, this very minute, who are battling for their lives. It’s MY turn to give back.
I am committed to making a difference in my candidacy as Man of the Year and you can help make a difference as well – in the lives of those living in our community, right here, right now. Together, we can make a significant IMPACT in the fight against blood cancers.
